When I decided in 2018 to look for new challenges in my professional life again, the path to this goal was not clearly clear to me.
What did I have in my personal portfolio? Over 30 years of experience in a highly interesting industry and thus a large network of manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, journalists, tour operators, campsites, landlords and many other interesting contacts in the caravaning scene. Furthermore, a strong business understanding for organization, sales and marketing through many years of experience in leading positions in industry.
And I have and had a great affinity for the Scandinavian mentality.
It quickly became clear that my sons would be very close to me on my new path (... or vice versa, I would them!). My older son Joscha’s collaboration in the very successful further development of the ROADFANS digital rental platform is clear evidence of this.
Scan Caravaning will establish itself as a strong professional partner for all activities related to B2B and B2C business to and from Scandinavia in the next few years.
There is already an extensive network in Norway, Sweden and Finland as well as long-term cooperation with the Swedish premium brand POLAR and the former Finnish brand SOLIFER in Central Europe.
I am very much looking forward to the tasks ahead of me, the many new contacts, but also the reunion of long-term companions, and the implementation of my future-oriented and digitally oriented vision of Caravaning 2.0.
